  HKICA is a non-profit making organization. Its Executive Board comprises members from universities, public authorities, governmental organizations, certification bodies, management systems consultants in Hong Kong. HKICA provides services to the quality, environmental, occupational health & safety, food safety, laboratory and other management systems auditing professions in Hong Kong. HKICA also provides a series of personnel certification schemes to meet the ever changing need of the industry and the expectation of the community at large.

    • Dear HKICA Member,

       

      The HKICA Board of Directors meeting held on 3rd Feb 2010 accepted the decision of Ir C K Cheung to step down from the post of President of HKICA with immediate effect. To acknowledge our Founding Chairman’s contribution on the setting up and development of HKICA, the Board resolved to invite CK as our Honorary Chairman.

       

      The Board of Directors also agreed that Ir Dr Tommy Lo, Vice-President will step up as Acting President with immediate effect till next AGM. The Board further proposed that Ir Dr Tommy Lo to be the next President and Ir Y L Wong remains as Treasurer subject to confirmation in the AGM. The Board, Vice-President and Secretary will be re-elected at the next AGM.

       

      I would like to express my gratitude to C K Cheung and all Executive Board Members for their voluntary contribution in promoting HKICA and the status of Auditors for the benefit and advancement of the Hong Kong testing and certification industry.

The 3rd MOU partner of HKICA

    • Hong Kong Fire Protection Association became the 3rd MOU partner of HKICA. A signing ceremony was held on the 17 January 2008 at the Polytechnic University. Mr. C K Cheung, President of HKICA, and Mr. Samson Ho, President of HKFPA, had signed the MOU to signify the collaboration between both organizations. Please see MOU column for more details.

More closer link with Mainland China counterpart

    • The HKICA President, Vice-President and Hon Secretary will pay a visit to the China Certification & Accreditation Association in Beijing, in mid March 2008 with a view to exploring a closer link with our Mainland management system auditors certification body.
