MoU with GDIE

We are pleased to announce that HKICA has signed the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with The GuangDong Ceramic Society (广东省硅酸盐学会) and The Guangdong Institution of Engineers (GDIE) (广東省工程師學會) on 20 May 2022. Through the agreement, the HKICA Construction Materials Testing Engineer (建筑材料质控检测专业工程师) and 广东省硅酸盐学 会非金属材料(建筑材料检测)专业工程师 are mutually recognized.The MRA promotes the Hong Kong Testing, Inspection and Certification professionalism in GBA; helps HKSAR youngers to join the testing our Industry and works in GBA. It reduces the pressure of manpower shortage of Hong Kong TIC trade. In longterm, it facilitates cross border supervision/inspection of construction products manufacturing and testing; products/services supplied to HK.Together with the MRA we signed last year (11 July 2020) with Guangdong Province Product Certification Services Association, HKICA reached full professional mutual recognition with The Guangdong Institution of Engineers (GDIE).

我們很高興地宣布，HKICA 已於 2022 年 5 月 20 日與廣東省硅酸鹽學會和廣東省工程師學會簽署了互認協議。 通過協議，HKICA建築材料檢測專業工程師（建築材料質控檢測專業工程師）與廣東省硅酸鹽學會非金屬材料（建築材料檢測）專業工程師互認.互認協議有助香港檢測和認證的專業在大灣區推廣；幫助香港特區的年輕人加入檢測和認證行業並能在大灣區工作; 減輕香港TIC的人手短缺壓力。從長遠來看，它有利於建築產品製造和供港產品/服務的跨境監督和檢測。連同我們去年（2020 年 7 月 11 日）與廣東省產品認證服務協會簽署的互認協議，HKICA 與廣東省工程師學會達成了全面的檢測和認證專業工程技术人员互認。
